Credit Card Fraud Policy
Automotive Tools Online takes credit card fraud very seriously.  We cooperate completely with local, state and federal law enforcement officials to apprehend groups or individuals committing credit card fraud.

Whether it be in-state or across state lines, credit card fraud is a FEDERAL crime that is investigated by the FBI and prosecuted by the Department of Justice (if you don't believe us, just look it up for yourself).  By mandate of law, we are required to report such abuses and we happily comply with that mandate.

Our company will supply all information that we have about fraudulent orders to those officials who will then pursue investigation and prosecution of the criminal action taken by offending parties.  Once the criminal case has been completed, a separate civil case is then submitted against the offending party to recover any and all damages (financial and otherwise) that is incurred by our company.

We take the security of our ordering system seriously and any attempt to fraudulently use a credit card will be reported immediately.

Over the past several years, our company has detected and reported many attempted fraudulent orders to the issuing banks of the credit cards as well as the authorities.  In our opinion, it's not worth several years in a federal prison and financial ruin. 

For persons placing VALID orders, we DO NOT release any information to any outside source.  We value your privacy and want you to return again! 

Return Policy
Unused tools may be returned in original packaging within 30 days for a full refund. In addition, certain manufacturers allow for returns under their “Satisfaction Guarantees” and we will honor the return policies of these manufacturers.

Purchaser must email for a return authorization number prior to sending any product back. Never send a package to the manufacturer, unless we instruct you to do so.

Our return center cannot process exchanges. If you have found another item on our website that you prefer, please place a separate order for that item and return the unwanted item in accordance with the terms above. Once we have received and processed the returned item, we will notify you via email of your refund. Please note that we cannot refund shipping costs.

Please state the reason for your return on the back of the packing slip (or if unavailable, another piece of paper and include your name and contact information.) Enclose the slip in the carton, wrap the package securely and send it to the address below:
